Job Title:Full Time, Temporary/Contractual
Salary:2.25-4.5 Lacs Per Year
Job Responsibilities:-
(A) Operator Responsibility
- Equipment Operation:
- Start, stop, and control equipment or machinery
- Monitor equipment performance and adjust as needed
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Process Control:
- Monitor and control process conditions (temperature, pressure, flow rate, etc.)
- Make adjustments to maintain optimal process conditions
- Respond to alarms and abnormal situations
- Quality Control:
- Monitor product quality and report any deviations
- Take samples for laboratory testing (if required)
- Implement quality control measures to prevent defects
- Safety and Environmental:
- Follow safety procedures and protocols
- Report safety incidents or hazards
- Implement environmental controls to minimize waste and pollution
- Communication:
- Communicate with colleagues, supervisors, and other departments
- Report production status, issues, or concerns
- Participate in shift handovers and meetings
- Documentation:
- Complete logs, records, and reports (production, maintenance, quality, etc.)
- Update records and databases as required
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Troubleshooting:
- Identify and resolve equipment or process issues
- Collaborate with maintenance or technical teams for support
- Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Training and Development:
- Participate in training and development programs
- Learn new skills and processes to improve performance
- Share knowledge and experience with colleagues
(B) Fitter Responsibility:-

- Installation:
- Install machinery, equipment, and piping systems
- Ensure proper alignment and leveling
- Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks (lubrication, cleaning, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment faults
- Repair:
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment for repair or replacement
- Replace worn or damaged parts
- Testing:
- Conduct functional tests on equipment and systems
- Ensure proper operation and performance
- Quality Control:
- Inspect equipment and materials for quality and accuracy
- Report any defects or issues
- Safety:
- Follow safety protocols and procedures
- Identify and report potential safety hazards
- Documentation:
- Complete maintenance records and reports
- Update technical documentation and drawings
- Collaboration:
- Work with other tradespeople (electricians, welders, etc.) on projects
- Assist engineers and technicians with equipment installation and testing
- Troubleshooting:
- Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions
- Develop and implement corrective actions
- Continuous Improvement:
- Suggest improvements to equipment, processes, and procedures
- Participate in training and development to enhance skills
Fitters work with machinery, equipment, and piping systems, ensuring proper installation, maintenance, and repair. Their role is crucial in maintaining equipment efficiency, safety, and productivity.
(C) Electrician Responsibility:-
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
- Reading technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Performing general electrical maintenance.
- Inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
- Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
- Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
- Following National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
- Performing circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
- Maintaining good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems as well as various testing equipment.
Note:- Candidates from the Steel,heavy engineering and auto industries are preferred
